Huawei WATCH 6 series launches globally: starting at £399.99! Available with ceramic/titanium case options

Huawei has officially launched the WATCH 6 series smartwatch globally, available in standard and Pro models, with the Pro version offering ceramic/titanium case options.

The WATCH 6 series comes in 42mm and 46mm case sizes. The 42mm version weighs 38g without the strap, with case options in aluminum alloy or stainless steel, available in blue, black, white, and gold colorways.

The display features an LTPO OLED circular screen protected by spherical synthetic sapphire glass, with peak brightness reaching 3000 nits to ensure readability in bright outdoor conditions.

For health monitoring, the watch is equipped with the X-TAP sensor module, integrating a 12-channel PPG sensor and pressure sensor. Pressing and holding the X-TAP button for 3 seconds activates the Health Glance feature, which completes up to 14 body metric checks within 60 seconds and provides research-based assessments related to coronary heart disease risk, diabetes risk, and hypertension risk.

The device supports Physical Readiness assessment, which combines sleep quality, HRV, sleep heart rate, stress, and activity expenditure data to generate a body condition score. It also offers Health Insights analysis, delivering data on sleep, heart rate, mood, and activity along with lifestyle recommendations.

Sports features include AI-driven exercise analysis that interprets training load and recovery status, with built-in advanced sports modes covering golf, winter sports, diving, cycling, and various indoor and outdoor activities.

The watch is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms and supports simultaneous connection to two phones. An optional eSIM cellular version enables calls, offline payments, and navigation without a phone.

It features a Safety Check function that shares location and body status with designated contacts, and supports NFC card payments, QR code scanning, and real-time wrist navigation.

New gesture controls include wrist flipping to silence incoming calls, as well as double-pinch and double-swipe gestures for quick operations.

In terms of pricing, the Huawei WATCH 6 will go on sale in the UK starting at £399.99, while the WATCH 6 Pro starts at £599.99. Purchases made during the promotional period will receive a £50 discount.
