For the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold, a large-screen foldable flagship set to launch officially, Lei Jun has given it an exceptionally high positioning, directly stating that this is the most premium phone product Xiaomi has ever created.

Xiaomi has confirmed it will officially debut at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Germany, on September 4th—the international consumer electronics exhibition well-known in the industry—showcasing this new foldable flagship globally for the first time at a top-tier international event.

Now, a digital blogger has captured the actual device ahead of time on Xiaomi's massive exhibition stand, revealing many exterior details that the company hasn't yet made public.

According to the blogger's on-site description, the new device's outer screen features only a very small centered single punch-hole cutout. The most striking aspect of the front is the ultra-elliptical, large-radius corner treatment, which delivers an exceptionally smooth hand-feel transition with almost no sharp edges that dig into the palm.

"The inner screen also has a camera with a single punch-hole, but instead of being centered like the Samsung Z Fold 8, it's placed at the corner, similar to Huawei's approach. That's a plus. The bright red color scheme looks quite premium in terms of finish," the blogger noted.
