First to debut the Tao's Law Kirin chip! Huawei Mate 90 series launch event is planned to be moved up.

A netizen previously discovered in the approval system for foreign-related commercial performances on the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism that the "Huawei Terminal Haco Launch Event Entertainment Performance" had been officially approved.
The approval was dated August 10, with the performance scheduled to take place at Hall 20 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Based on the timing and venue specifications, the public generally associates this event with the launch of Huawei's annual flagship Mate 90 series.
Meanwhile, industry rumors suggest that Xiaomi's 18 Pro series will also be released on September 23. If these reports hold true, the two brands' second launch events of the month will once again coincide (Note: Xiaomi and Huawei are both holding new product launches on September 7). In response, tech blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the Huawei Mate 90 series is planned for an earlier debut, and the timing may be adjusted.
It is reported that this launch event will introduce four flagship models: the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max, and Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design. As the most powerful Mate series to date, the Mate 90 lineup's biggest highlight is undoubtedly its use of the Taolu Ding Kirin chip.
The core concept of this chip is to break away from the traditional "geometric scaling" model that relies on process node upgrades, instead shifting the chip's circuitry from a single-layer planar design to a multi-layer vertical stacking architecture. This three-dimensional layout significantly shortens the physical paths for signals between different circuit layers, effectively reducing signal transmission time and achieving substantial overall performance gains without upgrading the process node.
In terms of pricing, the Mate 90 series may see a price increase. Huawei Executive Director, Chairman of the Product Investment Review Committee, and Chairman of the Terminal BG, Richard Yu, previously stated that memory prices have surged significantly, and the smartphone industry may face across-the-board price hikes. Selling at original prices would result in losses for companies.
