Starting at 230,000 yuan! BYD Sea Lion 08 unveils multiple bespoke color options: Ocean aesthetics fully maximized

Today, Zhang Gong, General Manager of BYD Auto's Ocean Network Sales Division, unveiled the bespoke color options for the "Ocean Flagship SUV" Hai狮08. The vehicle has already opened for blind booking, with the Hai狮08 EV priced at 250,000-280,000 yuan and the Hai狮08 DM-i at 230,000-260,000 yuan.

The new car's paint finishes are divided into two series: solid colors and two-tone combinations, with each hue inspired by natural ocean and cloudscape scenery, offering a unique ambiance. There are five solid color options: Frost Jade Silver, Poseidon Green, Sea Mist Purple, Obsidian Black, and Starlight Gray.

The two-tone combinations feature a contrasting roof design, all using Frost Jade Silver as the roof base, with pairings of Frost Jade Silver/Poseidon Green and Frost Jade Silver/Sea Mist Purple. The interior is available in two styles—Light Cloud White and Night Condensed Purple—with paint tones drawn from natural imagery like deep seas and cloudscapes, perfectly aligning with the vehicle's Ocean 2.0 design language.

Additionally, the vehicle measures 5115/1999/1800mm, with a 3030mm ultra-long wheelbase supporting both 5-seat and 2+2+2 six-seat layouts. The six-seat version features independent second-row seats with a walk-through passage, and high-end trims come equipped with zero-gravity seats featuring ventilation, heating, and massage functions.

Powertrain options include DM-i plug-in hybrid and EV pure electric systems. The hybrid version is powered by a 1.5T engine, with a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 400km; the EV version offers multi-power motors, paired with two specifications of blade batteries, achieving a maximum CLTC range of 900km. All versions come standard with flash charging, Cloud-Chariot A air suspension, and rear-wheel steering.

The cabin adopts a wrap-around minimalist yacht style, featuring extensive premium leather with mother-of-pearl textured trim, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster paired with a 15.6-inch adaptive rotating central control screen, and is equipped with God's Eye 5.0 advanced driver assistance, enhanced by a roof-mounted LiDAR. The hardware configuration stands out competitively among vehicles in the same price segment.
