AITO M9 has dominated the 500,000-level market for two consecutive months! Seres releases first-half financial report: revenue of 57.4 billion yuan

Seres released its 2026 semi-annual report today, with first-half operating revenue of 57.493 billion yuan and R&D investment of 7.007 billion yuan, up 34.8% year-on-year. The AITO brand delivered a cumulative 10.2% year-on-year increase in the first half, with the all-new AITO M9 and AITO M6 launched and delivered successively, continuously improving the product matrix.
Looking at specific models, the flagship M9 of the AITO family performed impressively, ranking first in sales in the 500,000-yuan segment for two consecutive months.
The all-new AITO M9 was officially launched on May 27, with a suggested retail price starting at 479,800 yuan. The more anticipated M9 Ultimate Leading Extended Edition is priced at 649,800 yuan, further pushing the AITO brand's price ceiling into the 600,000-yuan range, with deliveries about to begin.
As of March this year, cumulative deliveries of the AITO M9 had exceeded 280,000 units, retaining the title of best-selling luxury car above 500,000 yuan for 21 consecutive months.
The AITO M6, meanwhile, took on the task of expanding downward in the market. Launched on April 22, with the extended-range version starting at 259,800 yuan and the pure electric version at 279,800 yuan, it surpassed 30,000 cumulative deliveries within 54 days of launch, becoming a new sales growth point for the AITO brand. With this, AITO has completed full coverage across the price range from 250,000 to 650,000 yuan with the M5, M6, M7, M8, and M9.
In terms of R&D investment, Seres' 7.007 billion yuan in the first half represented a 34.8% year-on-year increase, continuing the high-intensity R&D pace of 12.5 billion yuan for the full year of 2025.
The company previously disclosed that R&D funds are mainly directed toward key areas such as flagship product development, platform system construction, and innovative businesses, including core technologies like the fifth-generation super extended-range system.
From January to June this year, Seres sold a cumulative 178,777 new energy vehicles, maintaining positive growth in AITO deliveries despite overall industry pressure.
