October 16, 2025 – OPPO officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Find X9, this evening, starting at RMB 4,399.
The Find X9 introduces a new “Velvet Sand Process” for the back glass, giving it a soft, metallic sheen. Combined with an ultra-precise cold-sculpting technique, the phone achieves a seamless connection between the camera module and rear panel.
On the front, the device features a 1.15 mm ultra-narrow symmetrical bezel that balances immersive viewing with accidental-touch prevention. The overall weight distribution is precisely balanced for comfortable handling. It also offers IP66/68/69-rated water resistance and has passed SGS five-star drop resistance certification, ensuring top-tier durability.
Breakthrough in Mobile Photography
Addressing the long-standing issue of pixel-rich cameras producing blurry details when zoomed in, the OPPO Find X9 debuts the Hasselblad 8K Ultra-Clear Photo mode. Without any extra steps, users can capture high-definition, detail-rich photos directly across all focal lengths — ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto.
Powered by the new-generation LUMO Super Pixel Engine and OPPO’s proprietary chip-chain parallel computing technology, every pixel is processed and fused with precision, delivering exceptional clarity and realism.
World’s First 4K Live Photo Output
The Find X9 also becomes the world’s first smartphone to natively output 4K Live Photos, overcoming the industry’s decade-long challenge of limited live-photo resolution. This innovation upgrades live-photo clarity from 2K to 4K — every frame, including the cover frame, is wallpaper-quality. Users can extract any single frame as a crisp, detailed still image. The feature also supports slow-motion, multi-shot capture, and one-tap collage creation for creative expression.
The Xiaohongshu (RED) platform has already integrated support for sharing and viewing 4K Live Photos, allowing users to showcase ultra-clear travel and street photography moments without carrying a camera.
Performance and Hardware
The OPPO Find X9 comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat display, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. It packs a massive 7,025 mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, and runs ColorOS 16 out of the box.
The rear camera system includes a 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP main wide, and 50MP telephoto lens, enhanced by Danxia Color Restoration technology. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera. Other notable features include ultrasonic in-display fingerprint recognition, comprehensive waterproofing, and infrared remote control functionality.

According to OPPO’s Chief Product Officer Liu Zuohu, the Find X9 may be the “standard edition,” but it’s anything but ordinary:
