Yu Chengdong: HarmonyOS Smart Travel Xiangjie G9 exceeded 3,100 firm orders within one hour of launch.

On August 20, Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Executive Director, Director of the Product Investment Review Committee, and Chairman of Terminal BG, announced that the Xiangjie G9 received over 3,100 firm orders within one hour of its launch.

Priced between 429,800 and 549,800 yuan, the new model offers both extended-range and pure electric powertrains, along with five-seat and six-seat cabin options. It complements the AITO M9, further strengthening Harmony Intelligent Mobility's presence in the premium full-size SUV segment.

In terms of exterior design, the Xiangjie G9 features a rugged boxy body shape, paired with highly recognizable ring-style lighting, and offers multiple wheel and tire options. Inside, it is equipped with an integrated triple-screen display, AR-HUD head-up display, and retains physical control buttons. Optional outdoor accessories include roof tents and tailgate kitchen kits.

Chassis and off-road capability are standout features of this model. It is built on Huawei's All-Terrain Turing Platform, featuring an 800V fully active disconnectable stabilizer bar, adaptive dog-clutch differential lock, and centrally supplied dual-chamber air suspension. With ±12° rear-wheel steering and a maximum wading depth of 800 mm, it delivers solid traversal performance across complex road conditions.

The body extensively uses submarine-grade hot-formed steel, with a roof load capacity of up to 16.5 tons, providing a robust foundation for passive safety.

On the intelligent front, the Xiangjie G9 is built for L3 autonomous driving architecture, equipped with 38 sensors and Huawei's intelligent driving system, featuring full-chain multi-layered safety redundancy. All variants come standard with an 800V high-voltage silicon carbide platform, and the dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers strong output. The extended-range version offers a comprehensive range exceeding 1,200 kilometers.
