Yijing X9 officially announces that Heavenly King Aaron Kwok will serve as its global brand ambassador! Pre-sales for the new car will begin on August 18.

Yijing Automobile officially announced today that天王郭富城 (Aaron Kwok) will serve as the global brand ambassador for its first family flagship large six-seat SUV, the Yijing X9. Pre-sales for the new vehicle are set to begin on August 18.
According to Yijing's official introduction, the partnership traces back to earlier this year. At the Hong Kong auto show in June, Aaron Kwok gave the Yijing X9 a close-up inspection and praised the development of China's new energy vehicles on the spot. During his Wuhan concert tour the same month, he also had a comprehensive test ride, experiencing the vehicle's driving quality and interior space.
Yijing's choice of ambassador is straightforward: Aaron Kwok is both a seasoned racing enthusiast and a well-known "car collector" in the industry with professional-level standards for driving control, and a father of three with firsthand experience of what families need in a spacious, safe vehicle. This aligns perfectly with the Yijing X9's positioning as a "second-generation family flagship" that must be "both enjoyable to drive and capable of taking care of the whole family." The two sides hit it off immediately.
It's reported that Yijing is a premium new energy brand co-created by Dongfeng and Huawei Qiankun under the "full-stack native co-creation" model. Launched in November last year, the brand has seen both parties invest billions of yuan with a 5,000-person team working on joint development. Unlike technology supply or Harmony Intelligent Mobility models, the collaboration is fully integrated from product definition to manufacturing.
The Yijing X9 is the brand's debut model, making its global premiere at the Beijing auto show in April this year, with the first production unit rolling off the line in Chengdu on July 20.
On the product side, the Yijing X9 measures 5,301mm in length with a 3,120mm wheelbase. It comes standard with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving and an 896-line dual-optical-path LiDAR, plus a CAS 5.0 six-dimensional collision avoidance system. The chassis features an all-aluminum structure with standard dual-chamber air suspension, CDC electromagnetic dampers, and rear-wheel steering.
The cabin debuts the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit system, featuring dual 17.2-inch 3.4K butterfly-wing dual screens. Designed around the concept of "family first," the interior offers a massive 3,294mm of longitudinal space. The third-row VIP seats boast a maximum recline angle of 133° comparable to Maybach and the widest seat cushion in its class at 1,101mm, ensuring every seat is a C-seat.
With all six seats occupied, the trunk still offers 484L of space, enough for four 20-inch suitcases plus three large backpacks. With the third row folded flat, capacity expands to 1,368L, and the second row can convert into a bed, allowing the family to camp and sleep directly inside the vehicle.
As planned, the Yijing X9 will open pre-sales on August 18, going head-to-head with domestic 9-series flagship SUVs like the AITO M9 and Li Auto L9. However, on pricing, Yijing is expected to deliver a significant surprise this time.
