XPeng Group's mid-term gross margin reached 20.7%! He Xiaopeng says Q4 aims to challenge monthly sales of 60,000 units.

Xpeng Group released its Q2 2026 financial results yesterday, with total revenue reaching RMB 19.74 billion, up 8.0% year-over-year and 51.5% quarter-over-quarter, with a gross margin of 20.7%.
In Q3, Xpeng's new locked orders increased 50% quarter-over-quarter. The company expects Q3 2026 deliveries of approximately 115,000 to 121,000 units, with total revenue projected between RMB 21.7 billion and RMB 23.4 billion.
During the earnings call, He Xiaopeng stated the company will challenge a monthly sales volume exceeding 60,000 units. For comparison, July deliveries were in the range of over 30,000 units.
Next, the large five-seat flagship model G9L will officially launch and begin deliveries in September, while the MONA L05 is planned for domestic release in Q4. With the launch of four new SUV models, Xpeng will achieve comprehensive coverage across major SUV market segments.
Additionally, physical AI remains a key strategic focus for Xpeng this year. Starting from late August, the second-generation VLA large model will undergo its first major upgrade, with on-device model parameters expanding 3.5 times, perception sensitivity improving 300%, introducing ultra-long-sequence reasoning and prediction capabilities, and achieving VLA+VLM cockpit integration.
He Xiaopeng stated that the global deployment of the second-generation VLA is accelerating. The Xpeng team has completed localized acceptance testing of the second-generation VLA in Germany, and the company aims to obtain regulatory approval in Europe and begin overseas deliveries in the first half of next year.
The production-ready Robotaxi equipped with the second-generation VLA has completed over 2,000 internal test orders in Guangzhou, successfully running through the full passenger-carrying demonstration operation process.
Xpeng will continue to enhance Robotaxi technology and cost competitiveness, targeting safety-driver-free passenger operations by 2027, and will work with domestic and international mobility platforms to expand business scale and create greater commercial value.
To accelerate the commercialization of physical AI technology, Xpeng recently established a group-level major business development team, actively engaging with global partners to promote Turing AI chips, the second-generation VLA model, Robotaxi, and humanoid robot technologies to the global market at a faster pace.
