Xiaomi's first phone with a 10,000mAh-class battery! REDMI Note 17 Pro Max released: top configuration priced over 3000 yuan

Xiaomi officially launched the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max in the Japanese market this morning.

In terms of pricing, the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 69,980 yen (approximately RMB 2,950), while the 8GB+512GB version costs 89,980 yen (approximately RMB 3,795).

The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max is equipped with a massive 10,000mAh battery, offering power-bank-level endurance, making it Xiaomi's first phone with a 10,000mAh-class battery.

Additionally, it supports 100W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to serve as a power bank to charge other devices in emergencies. It not only completely eliminates battery anxiety but also provides help to others at critical moments.

Despite housing the 10,000mAh battery, the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max maintains a relatively slim and light design, with a thickness of just 8.57mm and a weight of approximately 229.5 grams.

More importantly, the device features a shock-absorbing internal structure and has earned SGS drop-resistance certification. It also supports IP66 and IP68 dust and water resistance, allowing users to even shoot photos and videos underwater.

On the hardware front, the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm's fifth-generation Snapdragon 6 mobile platform. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP secondary lens, while the front features a 32MP camera. It ships with Android 16 out of the box.

Notably, the launch event also introduced an entry-level model, the REDMI 17 4G, starting at 29,980 yen (approximately RMB 1,265 for the 4GB+128GB version).

This device features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor, a 50MP rear main camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 7,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The simultaneous release of both new models further enriches Xiaomi's product lineup in the Japanese market.
