The China Earthquake Administration has announced official earthquake early warning channels: Huawei, Xiaomi, vivo and other phones have been integrated.

The China Earthquake Administration recently announced that it has reached cooperation with more than 30 enterprises and institutions, establishing a public earthquake early warning information service channel system.
Among them, phone manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, and vivo have integrated into the China Earthquake Early Warning Network, with the earthquake early warning function directly built into their systems.
Users can search for "earthquake early warning" in their phone's "Settings" to enable the relevant function, and the service is completely free of charge.
The entry point may vary across different brands and system versions, but it can be quickly found by searching through system settings.
In addition to the built-in phone system feature, the public can also receive earthquake early warnings via WeChat.
Specifically, users can search for the "China Earthquake Networks Center" mini-program on WeChat, tap "Enable Earthquake Early Warning," authorize notification and location permissions, and add cities of interest to receive relevant warning information.
Furthermore, official WeChat mini-programs of provincial earthquake agencies also provide earthquake early warning services simultaneously. This channel is suitable for users of different phone brands, requiring no additional app downloads or account registration.
The China Earthquake Administration reminds that upon receiving an earthquake early warning, attention should first be paid to the warning level and countdown duration, and then appropriate避险 measures should be taken based on the actual situation.
According to the locally estimated intensity, earthquake early warnings are divided into four levels—I, II, III, and IV—displayed with red, orange, yellow, and blue icons, respectively.
Warning information typically indicates the magnitude, epicenter location, locally estimated intensity, and the countdown to the arrival of destructive seismic waves, allowing the public to assess the level of risk and take action accordingly.
If immediate evacuation is not possible, the following general避险 principles can be referenced:
Level I warning (red alert): Take emergency避险 measures during the quake, and evacuate quickly and orderly after strong shaking ends.
Level II warning (orange alert): Take shelter nearby during the quake, and evacuate to a safe area promptly after shaking ends.
Level III warning (yellow alert): Stay observant and vigilant, monitor surrounding activity, and be prepared to take shelter.
Level IV warning (blue alert): No need for excessive panic; maintain normal production and daily routines while continuing to monitor follow-up information.
