Wei Dongyi removed his math exercise book from Bilibili: book sales exceeded 1 million yuan in four days.

According to media reports, four days later, Wei Dongyi removed the product links from his Bilibili store. On the evening of August 22, Wei Dongyi, an associate professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University, removed the links to two sets of math exercise books that had been listed in his Bilibili account's shop.
Before removal, the two sets of primary and secondary school math supplementary materials he edited had cumulative sales exceeding 26,000 units, with estimated revenue surpassing 1 million yuan based on the selling price.
It is reported that on the evening of August 18, Wei Dongyi updated his Bilibili account after more than a year, posting a video titled "An Interesting Math Problem," which only showcased the solution to a fourth-grade elementary math problem, with the opening noting "Edited by Wei Dongyi, 'Mathematical Ability'."
At the same time, Wei Dongyi's Bilibili shop listed two original supplementary materials: "Primary School Math Problem-Solving Skills Training Workbook" and "Junior High School Math Problem-Solving Skills Training Workbook," priced at 39.8 yuan and 49.8 yuan respectively.
Both product pages used the tagline "Learn Math with Wei Dongyi" and featured his photo. The workbooks were edited by Wei Dongyi and published by Longmen Publishing House.
Data showed that within just one day of release, sales of the primary school math workbook exceeded 10,000 units, maintaining high sales momentum.
As of the evening of the 22nd, over 20,000 copies of the primary school edition had been sold, and more than 6,000 copies of the junior high school edition, totaling over 26,000 units. Based on the selling price, revenue from the Bilibili shop alone exceeded 1 million yuan.
In response to the account update and book publication, Peking University officially stated on the evening of August 21, confirming that the Bilibili account belongs to Wei Dongyi himself.
