Domestic first! TP200 large multi-functional long-endurance UAV successfully completed its maiden flight.

According to media reports on July 27, the TP200 large multi-functional long-endurance UAV, independently developed by Yitong UAV System Co., Ltd., recently completed its maiden flight successfully. Throughout the flight, the aircraft remained stable and controllable, with key parameters such as climb altitude and cruising speed meeting design targets, verifying the platform's safety and reliability.

TP200 is China's first ton-class multi-functional long-endurance civilian UAV developed strictly in accordance with airworthiness requirements. Specifically designed for high-altitude long-endurance operations, it adopts a high aspect ratio upper-wing layout, with endurance exceeding 24 hours under full load, providing solid support for long-duration, long-distance missions.

Unlike traditional single-function UAVs, the TP200 emphasizes flexible adaptability for multi-mission payloads in its design, adopting a modular "one aircraft, multiple configurations" approach to quickly switch operational modes based on different mission scenarios.

This design effectively addresses long-standing industry pain points such as low equipment reuse rates, poor device universality, and high procurement and maintenance costs, potentially accelerating the transition of large unmanned aircraft from specialized applications to large-scale government and civilian markets.

Leveraging its advantages of large payload, long endurance, and scalable platform, the TP200 can undertake a wide range of diversified low-altitude missions: in the marine economy sector, it can perform long-distance maritime patrols, near-shore search and rescue, and routine coastline monitoring; in disaster prevention and mitigation, it can support weather modification, meteorological detection, and drought relief operations.

In emergency government scenarios, it can precisely deliver emergency relief supplies to remote mountainous areas and islands; at the same time, it comprehensively covers government and civilian scenarios such as forest and grassland fire patrol, territorial mapping, and ecological forest and grass monitoring, building an all-weather, wide-coverage low-altitude operation support network.
