According to data released by blogger RD Observation, as of the 31st week of 2026, sales of the standard version of the Huawei Pura X Max reached approximately 325,500 units, while the Collector's Edition sold around 354,700 units, bringing the combined total of both versions to over 680,000 units.

The Huawei Pura X Max officially went on sale on April 25, less than four months ago. As the industry's first foldable phone with a large wide-fold form factor, the Pura X Max has delivered an impressive performance.

Unlike other foldable phones on the market, the Pura X Max pioneers the new large wide-fold design. Its external screen measures 5.4 inches, while the internal display reaches 7.7 inches, providing a larger effective viewing area when watching 16:9 or 16:10 videos, resulting in a more immersive audiovisual experience and stronger visual impact.

In terms of performance, the device is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro chip, Huawei's most powerful mobile processor to date. Overall performance is 30% higher than the previous generation, with CPU performance up 25%, GPU performance up 40%, and NPU performance up 70%. It also supports real-time ray tracing hardware acceleration, delivering superior performance in gaming and graphics-intensive scenarios.

Building on this foundation, the Huawei Pura X Max runs HarmonyOS 6, featuring the Xiaoyi intelligent assistant and the industry's first companion-style AI, which provides smarter interaction in complex intent understanding, task planning, and multi-step operations, further unlocking the productivity potential of the foldable form factor.

The device starts at 10,999 yuan. Following Huawei's lead, mainstream brands such as Apple and Samsung have begun adopting the wide-fold form factor.
