Huawei's official JD self-operated store shows that the Huawei Pura X View has sold out entirely during the pre-order phase, with all versions snapped up and immense popularity. Offline stores are also experiencing a pre-order surge, with product reservation numbers climbing rapidly as consumers rush to experience this highly anticipated wide-screen bar phone, creating a strong buying frenzy.

It is reported that the Huawei Pura X View is the world's first wide-screen bar phone, featuring a 6.39-inch display with a screen area of 114.27 square centimeters, larger than the 6.9-inch iPhone 17 Pro Max (note: the iPhone 17 Pro Max has a display area of 111.55 square centimeters).

Moreover, the Huawei Pura X View boasts an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 96.1%, with a body thickness of just 6.68 millimeters and a weight of 201 grams. Despite its ultra-slim and lightweight design, it packs a 7000mAh battery, offering greater capacity than the iPhone 17 Pro Max while remaining thinner and lighter.

More importantly, compared to the traditional 20:9 aspect ratio commonly used in bar phones, the Huawei Pura X View provides a larger horizontal display area, with proportions closer to a compact tablet or e-reader. When viewing common 4:3 and 16:9 video content, the picture fills the screen space more fully.

When watching vertical short videos, there are no black bars at the top or bottom, and the content fills the screen completely. When browsing feed-based apps like Xiaohongshu, the wider screen can simultaneously accommodate three columns of content, improving information browsing and search efficiency.

This new product will be officially released on September 7, when the final price will be announced. The device comes in four color options: Phantom Night Black, Zero Degree White, Leap Shadow Red, and Linen Gray. All versions come standard with 12GB of RAM, offer up to 1TB of storage, and come pre-installed with the latest HarmonyOS 7 operating system.
