A 3.5 billion yuan major contract finalized! China Mobile's procurement of 23,000 PC servers has concluded: PowerLeader and H3C lead the way.

The list of winning bidders for China Mobile's 2026-2028 server component renewal centralized procurement project was officially announced on August 28. The total budget for this procurement is approximately 3.5 billion yuan (excluding tax), with a procurement scale of 23,062 units, and a total of 5 manufacturers winning bids.

The project focuses on component renewal, primarily targeting servers used in existing network business systems over the long term. By dismantling, testing, and reusing high-quality DDR4 memory modules, it covers the entire chain of services including memory dismantling, transportation, testing, delivery, maintenance, and asset management.

The procurement is divided into three bid packages: Package 1 for independent and controllable ARM platforms (9,939 units), Package 2 for independent and controllable X86 platforms (8,103 units), and Package 3 for independent and controllable ARM or X86 platforms (5,020 units).

Both PowerLeader Computer System Co., Ltd. and Unisplendour H3C Technology Co., Ltd. won two bid packages each, leading with approximately 1.268 billion yuan and 960 million yuan respectively.

Package 1 was shared by PowerLeader Computer, iSoftStone Computer, and Beijing Shenzhou Kuntai, with shares of 50%, 27%, and 23%, corresponding to amounts of approximately 634 million yuan, 370 million yuan, and 323 million yuan.

Package 2 was won by Unisplendour H3C and Inspur Computer, with shares of 55% and 45%, corresponding to amounts of approximately 578 million yuan and 473 million yuan.

Package 3 was won by PowerLeader Computer and Unisplendour H3C, with shares of 70% and 30%, corresponding to amounts of approximately 634 million yuan and 387 million yuan.

It is worth noting that in Package 2, Unisplendour H3C's share was adjusted from the originally planned 70% to 55% due to its supply capacity being approximately 55% of Package 2's demand, with Inspur correspondingly adjusted to 45%.
