Starting at 109,800 RMB, the people's six-seat SUV Xingguang L surpassed 10,000 units in sales within its first month on the market.

Wuling Motors has officially announced that its six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, Starlight L, has surpassed 10,000 units in cumulative sales within one month of launch, ranking second in mid-to-large SUV sales for July.

The vehicle went on sale on July 16, offering three trim levels with a limited-time price range of 109,800 to 132,800 yuan. It features a six-seat layout designed primarily for family use.

The car comes with a rich set of standard features across all trims, including an AGS active air intake grille, power tailgate with position memory, hidden rear wiper, Carplay + Hicar + Carlink, 50W wireless phone charging for the driver, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, heated front and middle row seats, magnetic mounting points on the second row, and one-touch power windows with anti-pinch protection.

It also comes standard with a 37.9kWh battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 260km and a combined range of 1,260km, along with support for 3C DC fast charging and vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge.

The base trim includes power-adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, 20-inch tires, front airbags, side curtain airbags for the front row, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, a 12.8-inch 2K center touchscreen, and six speakers. This configuration largely covers everyday driving needs, making it suitable for budget-conscious buyers who require a six-seat vehicle.

The mid-tier trim adds laminated glass for the windshield and front doors, roof rails, side curtain airbags, front parking sensors, a 15.6-inch 2K center touchscreen, a 540-degree panoramic camera, 12 speakers, and the Lingmou intelligent driver assistance system.

The top-tier trim upgrades to a split panoramic sunroof with sunshade, a boss button on the front passenger seat, fold-out tables for the second row, multi-color ambient lighting, rear independent air conditioning, power-adjustable front passenger and second-row seats, ventilated front seats with suction cooling, 21 speakers, 20-inch Michelin tires, and features such as door-open warning, lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Overall, the mid-tier trim at 122,800 yuan offers the best value for money and can be considered the top recommendation, followed by the top-tier and base trims, depending on individual budget and usage scenarios.
