NVIDIA raises RTX PRO 6000 price to $16,000, doubling it, with 96GB GDDR7 memory!

Nvidia has recently initiated broad price adjustments across its high-end graphics card product line, with some flagship professional models seeing prices nearly double.

The RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition, Nvidia's flagship professional GPU built on the Blackwell architecture, features a rare 96GB GDDR7 ultra-large VRAM configuration. Its official price has been formally adjusted to $16,000, equivalent to nearly 110,000 RMB.

Compared to the initial suggested retail price of approximately $8,000 at launch, this latest pricing represents a near-doubling increase, setting a new all-time price high for this workstation professional card since its release.

This price surge driven by VRAM supply shortages is not an isolated case. The consumer-level flagship RTX 5090 has already seen its market retail price exceed $4,500, far surpassing its official launch MSRP of $1,999.

Given that the RTX PRO 6000 is equipped with significantly larger high-spec VRAM, this round of substantial price increases was actually within the expectations of many industry observers.

The current $16,000 pricing has been confirmed on Nvidia's official website and through the sales channels of core partner PNY, with relevant channels already initiating stocking processes at the new price.

Upstream DRAM memory chip manufacturers have successively issued warnings that the tight supply of high-end VRAM will persist for many years to come. The price rebound trend for high-end graphics cards and accompanying memory components shows no signs of easing in the short term. In the future, pricing for top-tier professional GPUs like the RTX PRO 6000 may even potentially break through the $20,000 threshold.
