Honor Magic9 series early teaser: Epic imaging upgrade, jointly tuned by Honor and ARRI.

this morning, Honor held an imaging technology launch event in Hengdian.
At the launch event, Honor announced that Honor and ARRI, leveraging their respective advantages, using Honor's “芯端云” all-domain imaging engine, combined with ARRI's century-long accumulation of film aesthetics and color science, fully implement Robot Phone, achieving a complete film creation chain from pre-shooting to post-production color grading, pushing mobile imaging from parameter competition into the era of film industry creation.
At the same time, Honor officially announced that this imaging system will be extended to the Magic9 and other products, marking the first time Honor has pre-announced its annual flagship Magic9 series. According to leaks, the Honor Magic9 series includes at least three models: the standard edition, Pro edition, and Pro Max edition. The phones are expected to be released as early as September, bringing an epic upgrade in imaging.
Over the past century, ARRI has defined the visual language of film with film industry-grade imaging standards. Today, smartphones have become the most sensitive recorders of this era. When ARRI's film industry standards meet Honor's innovative computing power, professional imaging finds a new answer: saying goodbye to over-rendered imaging styles, returning to true image tones, presenting wider dynamic range, more precise color control, and more natural skin tones.
The new Honor Magic9 series will feature ARRI color science, bringing the handheld expression of the film industry into a new era, allowing everyone to become the director of their own life. In addition, the Honor Magic9 series will be among the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E6 series flagship platform.
The chip uses TSMC's 2nm process, featuring Qualcomm's self-developed Oryon CPU, with an 8-core three-cluster architecture consisting of 2 super-large cores, 3 performance cores, and 3 medium cores, sharing 16MB L2 cache. Among them, the Snapdragon 8E6 Pro integrates an Adreno 850 GPU and 18MB graphics cache, and is the first to support LPDDR6 memory as well as UFS 5.0 flash storage. This will be the most powerful mobile chip in the Android camp in terms of overall performance.
With the 2nm flagship SoC and ARRI-calibrated imaging system, the overall strength of the Honor Magic9 series is worth looking forward to. It will occupy an important position in the high-end flagship market in the second half of the year.
