Independent brand MPV sales No.1! Wuling Starlight 730 cumulative sales exceeded 40,000 units in the first 7 months.

Wuling Silver Label announced that the Starlight 730 large 7-seat MPV achieved cumulative sales of over 40,000 units from January to July 2026, ranking first among self-owned brand MPVs.
The Wuling Starlight 730 was officially launched in November 2025, quickly gaining popularity thanks to its affordable pricing and practical product strengths, with sales climbing steadily after launch.
In its first month on the market, it delivered 11,280 units, topping MPV sales under 150,000 yuan and ranking third across all MPV categories. Sales surpassed 20,000 units within 49 days and reached 26,000 units in 80 days.
The Starlight 730 offers three powertrain options: gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric. Official pricing ranges from 73,000 to 109,800 yuan, dropping to 71,000 to 105,800 yuan after trade-in subsidies.
Built on the native Tianyu architecture platform, the new model is positioned as a mid-size MPV with dimensions of 4910×1850×1770mm and a wheelbase of 2,910mm.
It also features an electric sliding side door rarely seen in its class, with a hidden track design for a cleaner exterior appearance.
Interior space is a standout: effective cabin length reaches 3,331mm, the longest in its class; lateral width is 1,500mm, the widest in its class; and the distance between the middle and rear rows reaches 1,780mm. Overall space utilization hits 88%, leading the segment.
In terms of powertrain, the gasoline version of the Starlight 730 is equipped with a 1.5T engine delivering 130kW of maximum power, paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission, focusing on economy and practicality.
The plug-in hybrid version adopts the Lingxi Power 3.0 system, combining a 1.5L engine with a fourth-generation 10-in-1 electric motor. It achieves a fuel consumption of just 5.3L/100km when the battery is depleted, with a pure electric range of 125km under CLTC conditions and a combined range of up to 1,100km.
The pure electric version delivers 100kW of maximum power, equipped with a 60kWh Shenlian battery, offering a CLTC range of 500km. It supports 2C fast charging (200km of range in 15 minutes) and 220V vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge functionality.
