Huawei's first HarmonyOS desktop officially announced! Qingyun HM650 series to launch in October, self-developed Kirin X90 chip

Fast Tech News, July 29 - Today, Zhu Dongdong, President of Huawei's Terminal Tablet and PC Product Line, previewed that Huawei's Qingyun HM650 series will hit the market in October this year, marking the company's first HarmonyOS desktop PC.

According to the introduction, the Huawei Qingyun HM650 series desktop PCs are powered by Huawei's self-developed Kirin X90 chip and feature an innovative dual-layer cooling architecture.

Through deep collaboration between software, hardware, chips, and the cloud, this series can deliver sustained and stable high performance.

In addition to meeting everyday office needs, the Huawei Qingyun HM650 series can also handle professional scenarios such as engineering design, simulation modeling, and software programming, providing enterprise users with efficient computing response capabilities.

Huawei stated that since the launch of the Qingyun Galaxy Plan one year ago, it has served over 1,800 enterprise customers, accelerating the transition of enterprise office systems to HarmonyOS.

It is understood that in March 2025, the China Information Security Evaluation Center released the Security and Reliability Evaluation Results (2025 Issue 1), granting the Kirin X90 a Level II security and reliability certification.

This means the Kirin X90 has passed rigorous reviews in terms of core technology autonomy, supply chain security, and intellectual property compliance, meeting national information security standards.

This provides a secure and reliable underlying foundation for the Huawei Qingyun HM650 series in government and enterprise office environments as well as professional productivity scenarios.
