HarmonyOS Smart Driving's high-appearance FUV Zhijie RX official images released: dubbed a "suit-wearing thug"

HIMA's first FUV, the Luxeed RX, is now accepting reservations. Tonight, the company released more official images of the car, and the Luxeed product director even dubbed it a “suit-wearing thug.”

The RX's most notable characteristic is its low stance. According to the filing information, the new car measures 5020mm × 2007mm × 1600/1585mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. Its minimum height is just 1585mm, even lower than the Xiaomi YU7 (1597mm).

A popular saying in the car modification world goes, “Lowering covers up a hundred flaws,” and it fits the RX perfectly. With its reduced body height, long hood, and L113 proportions, the car looks razor-sharp and highly aggressive. Combined with 21-inch wheels and a wide-body design, it exudes a “don't mess with me” aura.

The RX adopts a brand-new design language. The front end remains closed-off, but the full-width light bar has been removed. The left and right headlights are now standalone units, with high/low beams and a small blue intelligent-driving light integrated into the lamp housings. The little blue light sits at the “corner of the eye” and can even produce a “blinking” effect, which is certainly a novel touch.

The rear design carries on HIMA's styling language, particularly the full-width taillight, which presents a starry visual effect within and is highly recognizable when illuminated. The car also features a roof spoiler and a rear-facing solid-state LiDAR.

Based on available information, the car will debut Huawei's new-generation high-performance electric drive, available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The RWD version is powered by a 277kW motor, while the AWD version adds a 160kW front motor.

All versions are equipped with Huawei's Giant Whale battery, available in 81kWh and 100kWh capacities, corresponding to lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and ternary lithium chemistries respectively. The driving range comes in three options: 702km, 852km, and 753km.
