Leapmotor officially launched the A05 blind ordering today. Place a deposit of 99 yuan to receive 5,000 exclusive energy points as a blind ordering benefit. The blind ordering period runs from July 27 until the official launch event.

The new car's appearance is one of its biggest selling points for female owners. The seven exterior dual-tone color options meet personalized needs, and the already-revealed pink body with black roof dual-tone scheme is rarely seen among competitors in the same class.

Family-style "hee-hee-ha-ha" headlights offer high recognition, hidden door handles, a class-exclusive floating IP bar, 256-color ambient lighting, and other features further strengthen its youth-oriented positioning.

In terms of core specs, the A05 delivers segment-leading features in the 50,000-yuan market: 510km ultra-long range, 16-minute ultra-fast charging (30%-80%), full-scenario parking-to-parking navigation assist, and a top speed of 160 km/h.

The infotainment system uses the Qualcomm 8295 flagship chip, offering microphone-free karaoke + a class-exclusive 12-speaker setup, multi-mode front and rear seat adjustment, and a 91L washable underfloor storage compartment.

The car measures 4200 x 1800 x 1560 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2605 mm. It is positioned as an A0-class pure electric hatchback. The trunk has a base volume of 474L, expandable to 1308L when the rear seats are folded down.

In terms of intelligence, the high-end version can be optionally equipped with a LiDAR, paired with the Qualcomm 8650 smart driving chip, enabling full-scenario parking-to-parking navigation assist – nearly unique in the 50,000-yuan market.

The A05 is available with two motor options: 70kW and 90kW. Battery capacities are 39.8kWh and 53kWh respectively, corresponding to ranges of 405km and 510km.

As for pricing, referencing the same series' A10 starting price of 65,800 yuan, the lower-positioned A05 is expected to start at around 50,000 yuan, with the main sales range concentrated between 60,000 and 80,000 yuan, directly competing with models like the Wuling Bingo Pro and BYD Dolphin.
