BYD sold 419,211 vehicles in July! Fangchengbao surpassed 40,000 vehicles.

BYD announced its sales data for July 2026, with the group selling a total of 419,211 vehicles across all categories, of which 411,072 were passenger vehicles. The overall volume continues to lead domestic automakers by a decisive margin.
The growth momentum in overseas markets is especially strong. In July, overseas deliveries of passenger vehicles plus pickups reached 179,841 units, a year-on-year increase of 124.3% — effectively doubling sales. The impact of overseas channel expansion is now fully apparent.
By brand, the BYD Dynasty and Ocean series remain the core volume driver, selling 350,178 units in a single month, covering family sedans and SUVs with the largest customer base.
Focused on hardcore off-road vehicles, Fangcheng Bao sold 41,213 units in July, crossing the 40,000-unit mark and fully unlocking demand in the off-road market.
Denza, the premium MPV and sedan brand, delivered 19,196 units, establishing a firm foothold in the premium new energy market. The top flagship brand Yangwang delivered 485 units, maintaining steady output in the niche ultra-premium segment.
Aggregating data from January to July, the BYD Group sold a cumulative 2,227,722 units. Cumulative overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups reached 969,208 units, with the overseas market maintaining rapid long-term growth.
At the same time, the company released a key milestone: BYD's cumulative total sales of new energy vehicles surpassed 17.3 million units, accumulating a massive user base.
Now, BYD's four product lines cover different price brackets, with corresponding models spanning from tens of thousands to millions of yuan. Affordable family cars stabilize baseline sales, Fangcheng Bao captures the off-road segment, Denza focuses on premium family vehicles, and Yangwang targets the million-yuan luxury market. This tiered layout means the brand has no obvious sales weak points.
Overseas market growth is far outpacing domestic growth. With cumulative overseas sales approaching one million units, it is clear that BYD's strategy of building plants and opening stores across multiple overseas markets has delivered tangible results. With few competitors at comparable price points overseas, domestically produced new energy models hold a pronounced cost-performance advantage.
With monthly sales exceeding 410,000 units, synchronized growth across all four brands, and a doubled overseas growth rate, BYD's overall growth trajectory remains remarkably steady. As overseas production capacity continues to ramp up and multiple new models are launched, there is further upside for sales in the period ahead.
