Starting at 439,800 yuan, the Hengjie G9 received 10,300 pre-orders within 24 hours of going on sale: full of blockbuster potential

Yesterday afternoon, Hongmeng Smart Mobility's first rugged boxy SUV, the Xiangjie G9, officially went on sale with a starting price of 439,800 yuan. Official data shows the vehicle received 10,300 orders within 24 hours, with Ultra and Ultra+ versions accounting for 90% of orders.

The Xiangjie G9 adopts a brand-new design language, with particularly distinctive headlights that offer strong visual recognition. An optional laser-projection headlight system can project a width-indicating light carpet, sense rain and fog conditions in real time, and automatically adjust light color temperature, boosting penetration by up to 66%.

The new vehicle measures 5,206 (5,377) x 2,050 x 1,897 mm with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. It is positioned as a full-size flagship SUV, in the same class as the Wenjie M9 while complementing each other.

The interior features a new integrated triple-screen display, along with AR-HUD head-up display and an electronic column shifter. Five physical buttons are placed below the center screen for one-touch operation. Optional accessories include LC dimmable glass, a camping package, and a tailgate kitchen kit to expand usage scenarios.

All models come standard with Huawei's 896-line LiDAR, with three additional solid-state LiDAR units available. It supports an all-scenario assistance system with dual safety redundancy and supports L3 autonomous driving. Road testing at speeds up to 120 km/h has already been launched in Beijing.

As a boxy SUV designed for versatile off-roading, the Xiangjie G9 debuts Huawei's All-Terrain Tuling Platform, featuring front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, closed dual-chamber air suspension, dual-valve continuously variable damping shock absorbers, and ±12° rear-wheel steering. Except for the entry-level version, other variants also debut an 800V fully active disconnectable stabilizer bar.

It also debuts Huawei's Zhiqing adaptive differential-lock electric drive, featuring a built-in dog-clutch mechanical differential lock that senses road conditions in real time and automatically locks to help the vehicle escape. Even beginners can enjoy the thrill of off-roading.

It also features an all-road perception system that actively recognizes terrain and automatically adjusts chassis parameters. Combined with the new-generation dual-optical-path image-level LiDAR, it supports an all-terrain driving assistance system.

The Xiangjie G9 is built on an 800V high-voltage architecture and is available in both extended-range and pure electric versions. Both feature a dual-motor layout with 160 kW at the front and 277 kW at the rear, delivering a combined peak power of 437 kW. The pure electric version comes standard with a 120-kWh ternary lithium battery and a CLTC range of 728 km. The extended-range version offers a battery capacity of up to 75 kWh with a CLTC pure-electric range of 405 km.
