399 yuan nets you 165Hz! ViewSonic's new 23.8-inch IPS monitor hits the market, complete with VGA port

ViewSonic has launched its new 23.8-inch monitor, the VA24G63, priced at 399 yuan ($55).

In terms of design, the VA24G63 features a mainstream three-sided micro-edge bezel design with a minimalist all-black body. A five-way joystick OSD button is located at the bottom right of the rear panel, allowing users to quickly adjust the menu.

Regarding display performance, the monitor is equipped with an IPS panel with 8-bit color depth (6-bit + FRC), a 178° viewing angle (horizontal and vertical), a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The native refresh rate is 144Hz, with overclocking support up to 165Hz. Response time is as low as 1ms (MPRT), with a GtG response of 5ms. Typical peak brightness is 300 nits, the typical contrast ratio is 1500:1, and sRGB color gamut coverage reaches 99%. The screen surface features an anti-glare coating with 3H hardness and 25% haze, effectively reducing ambient light interference.

For eye comfort and energy efficiency, the VA24G63 supports DC dimming with flicker-free technology and includes a built-in software low blue light mode to alleviate eye strain during extended use. Additionally, the product has passed national energy conservation certification, offering advantages in low power consumption and low heat generation, aligning with green environmental concepts.

In terms of ports, the monitor provides one HDMI 1.4 interface and one VGA interface (VGA supports a maximum of 1080p at 75Hz; using the HDMI port is recommended for optimal performance). A 1.5-meter HDMI cable is included, and the monitor adopts an external power supply design.

Furthermore, the stand supports -5° to 20° (±2°) front-to-back tilt adjustment, and 100×100mm VESA mounting holes are reserved for easy stand replacement or wall mounting.
