The 2027 BYD Seal 06 is set to launch, with an estimated starting price of around 105,000 yuan.

In terms of exterior design, the new car completely departs from the previous model's design language. The front end adopts a closed-off grille layout with clean, smooth lines, paired with sharply styled integrated headlights. The overall style leans more toward a family-oriented look, with the sporty air-curtain structures of the previous model removed for a cleaner front-end appearance.

The side profile retains the fastback coupe silhouette, paired with a black floating roof. Multi-spoke sport wheels enhance the car's stylish appeal. At the rear, a full-width taillight extends horizontally, and the rear bumper has been blacked out, creating distinct visual layering. The vehicle's overall character has changed considerably.

Inside, the new car adopts a wraparound cockpit layout, with optimized detailing that enhances the cabin's premium feel. It is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, a floating central touchscreen, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, delivering outstanding overall refinement.

The center console area features practical amenities such as wireless phone charging and dual cup holders, catering to everyday usability. The vehicle is positioned as a mid-size sedan, measuring 4,870/1,890/1,495mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 2,820mm — a wheelbase advantage that provides generous interior seating space.

In terms of powertrain, the plug-in hybrid version is equipped with the fifth-generation DM‑i system, featuring a 1.5L engine purpose-built for plug-in hybrids, with a maximum engine output of 74kW. The drive motor is offered in two power ratings — 120kW and 240kW — representing an increase over the current model's powertrain parameters. Corresponding all-electric ranges include 170km, 205km, and 230km versions.

The pure-electric EV version also offers single-motor options in 120kW and 240kW power ratings, with motor performance upgraded compared to the current model, delivering stronger power output.
