Xiaomi's Xuanjie O3 debuts LPDDR6 memory in the industry! ChangXin Memory Technologies reportedly serves as a core partner.

Xiaomi's first AI flagship SoC, Xuanjie O3, was officially released today, marking the industry's first support for LPDDR6 memory.
According to Cailianshe, supply chain sources revealed that domestic memory leader ChangXin Memory is the core partner for LPDDR6 memory in Xiaomi's Xuanjie O3.
As early as March this year, market reports indicated that ChangXin's LPDDR6 had been sent to key customers for sampling; in early August, multiple media outlets further reported that ChangXin's LPDDR6 was nearing the end of its validation phase.
With the official launch of the Xuanjie O3, this marks the first time a domestic LPDDR6 product has been applied in a flagship mobile processor, signifying that domestic low-power memory has officially entered the global first tier.
As the industry's first mobile SoC to support LPDDR6, the Xuanjie O3 achieves a memory speed of 10667Mbps, with single-channel bit width increased from 16-bit in LPDDR5X to 24-bit.
Building on this, the Xuanjie O3's memory bandwidth reaches 113.8GB/s, a 48% improvement over the previous generation Xuanjie O1, providing enhanced data throughput for the CPU, GPU, and NPU.
Higher memory bandwidth not only boosts everyday smoothness but is also critical for on-device AI, large model inference, and high-load gaming scenarios.
Especially against the backdrop of rapid on-device AI development, large model operations require frequent access to vast amounts of data. Higher bandwidth and lower power consumption from LPDDR6 will directly impact model response speed and overall device energy efficiency.
