Wang Xingxing becomes the new richest person among the post-90s generation! Unitree goes public: Lei Jun's Shunwei Capital affiliates earn 15.2 billion.

On August 19, Unitree Robotics, a core leader in the humanoid robot sector, officially began trading on the STAR Market. Its opening surge exceeded 500%, and its market value instantly surpassed 350 billion yuan, setting the strongest debut gain record for recent new listings on the STAR Market.
Wang Xingxing, founder and chairman of Unitree Robotics, holds approximately 30% of the company's shares through a combination of direct and indirect ownership. Based on the market value at opening, his personal stake exceeded 100 billion yuan, making him the richest person born in the 1990s in China and setting a new wealth record for the country's tech entrepreneurship community.
On its listing day, Unitree's opening price settled at 1,100 yuan per share, with an opening gain of 629.44%, pushing its total market value to 444.9 billion yuan. The capital market is granting an extremely high premium to this first humanoid robot stock.
Based on the issue price of 150.80 yuan per share, investors who won the lottery for new shares could earn a profit of 474,600 yuan per lot, setting the highest record for new-share subscription returns in the history of the A-share market.
Affiliated parties under Shunwei Capital, founded by Lei Jun, collectively hold 16.106 million shares of the company, with paper gains exceeding 15.2 billion yuan on the listing day, making them one of the biggest winners in this round of investment.
The semi-annual financial report disclosed alongside the listing shows that from January to June 2026, Unitree Robotics achieved operating revenue of 1.152 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 48.54%; net profit attributable to the parent company was 274 million yuan, compared to a loss of 32.0245 million yuan in the same period last year, marking a direct leap from losses to substantial profitability; non-GAAP net profit was 244 million yuan, a slight year-on-year decline of 19.34%. Overall operating performance met general market expectations.
Unitree Robotics officially explained that the core reason for the significant revenue growth in the first half of the year is the gradual enrichment of downstream application scenarios for humanoid robots and sustained strong global market demand. Sales revenue from the company's flagship humanoid robot products has maintained a relatively fast growth rate, with market share steadily increasing.
At the same time, the company candidly acknowledged that as its revenue base has expanded significantly, coupled with a cooling in overall industry investment enthusiasm and increasingly fierce market competition within the sector, the year-on-year growth rate of first-half operating revenue has noticeably declined compared to the compound annual growth rate of previous years. Going forward, the company will continue to widen the gap with competitors through sustained technological iteration.
