Huawei MateBook Pro S and MateBook Pro S Soft Light Edition officially went on sale today, starting at 7,999 yuan; the privacy screen and collector's editions will be released on August 28.

A major highlight of the Huawei MateBook Pro S is its extreme thinness and lightness, with the whole machine weighing just 798g and the body as thin as 11.9mm, setting a new record for thinness and lightness among 14-inch all-metal laptops.

It is reported that this is the first time the industry's lightest structural metal, magnesium-lithium alloy, has been used, combined with an innovative vacuum sputtering process, which significantly reduces body weight while maintaining strength, durability, and reliability.

In terms of internal structure, the Huawei MateBook Pro S is equipped with a 3mm ultra-thin diamond aluminum cooling fan, paired with a three-stage high-density motherboard and an ultra-thin pressure touchpad, achieving stable 20W performance release within an 11.9mm body.

In terms of performance, it is powered by the Kirin XE90 high-efficiency PC chip, which, compared to the Kirin X90, delivers a 23% improvement in single-core performance, a 25% improvement in energy efficiency ratio, and a 40% increase in NPU computing power, while also supporting on-device local AI computing and ray tracing graphics rendering.

The Huawei MateBook Pro S features a built-in 54Wh ultra-thin battery with 10% high-silicon negative electrode, increasing energy density by 15% and reducing battery weight by 10%.

The entire new lineup comes with a 14.2-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 3120x2080, supporting P3 wide color gamut and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The Huawei MateBook Pro S comes pre-installed with the HarmonyOS PC system, featuring a built-in Pangu on-device large model that supports real-time meeting transcription, long document summarization, cross-database multi-file retrieval, AI generation of images and text, and photo erasure and redrawing.

With Super Device one-touch connectivity, it enables multi-screen collaboration with Huawei phones, tablets, and monitors, cross-device clipboard, and file drag-and-drop continuation.
