Starting at 10,800! HP OmniBook 5 launched: 16-inch OLED screen with Panther Lake processor

HP recently launched its new 16-inch laptop, the OmniBook 5, in overseas markets. It is powered by Intel's Panther Lake platform processors, with a starting price of $1,599 (approximately RMB 10,800), while the high-end configuration is priced at around $2,489 (approximately RMB 16,800).

The OmniBook 5 offers two processor options: Core Ultra 7 355 and Core Ultra 9 386H. The base model comes with the Core Ultra 7 355, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The high-end configuration features the Core Ultra 9 386H, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

The base version of the display features a 1920x1200 resolution OLED panel with 300 nits of brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. Users can opt for a higher-spec OLED screen with 2880x1880 resolution, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak HDR brightness of up to 1100 nits.

Other specifications include a 68Wh battery. The wireless network card offers two Realtek options, supporting Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7, respectively.

The laptop is currently on sale in overseas markets, with the domestic launch date and pricing yet to be announced.
