Six domestic CPUs compete on the same stage! Central procurement bulk order results revealed: Hygon tops with 2,059 units, Huawei Kunpeng takes second with 1,053 units.

The Government Procurement Center of Central State Organs announced on August 12 the results of the August 2026 batch centralized procurement for desktop computers.
The procurement budget was 22.48 million yuan, covering a total of 4,496 desktop computers divided into six configuration packages, achieving full coverage of six major domestic chip platforms: Loongson, Phytium, Zhaoxin, Kunpeng, Hygon, and Shenwei.
Among them, the fifth package featuring the Hygon platform, won by China Great Wall Technology, stood out the most, with a unit price of 4,890 yuan and a total amount of 10.0685 million yuan, accounting for 44.8% of the total procurement value and making it the biggest winner this time.
The fourth package featuring the Kunpeng platform, won by Huawei Terminal, had a total amount of 5.2018 million yuan, with a unit price of 4,940 yuan, the second highest in the entire procurement. Despite the relatively high unit price, Huawei still secured the second-largest share, with Hygon and Kunpeng together accounting for 69.2% of the total procurement volume.
Among the remaining four packages, Inspur won the Loongson package with 494 units at a unit price of 4,450 yuan, the lowest in the entire procurement; Lenovo Kaitian won the Phytium package with 303 units; Anlingxin won the Zhaoxin package with 472 units; and Tianjin Guangdian Xin'an won the Shenwei package with 115 units at a unit price of 4,960 yuan, the highest in the entire procurement.
In terms of pricing, unit prices across all packages ranged from 4,450 yuan to 4,960 yuan, a difference of 510 yuan, indicating overall rational pricing with no vicious price competition.
Regarding operating systems, the six suppliers quoted identical prices for the three systems: Kylin, UnionTech UOS, and Zhongke Fangde. This indicates that operating system costs have become a fixed cost rather than a competitive variable.
As for warranty periods, three-year original manufacturer warranties are all free of charge, while differences exist in five-year and six-year extended warranties. Among them, Inspur charges the lowest for extended warranty, and Tianjin Guangdian Xin'an offers fully free warranty coverage.
