Huawei, Apple, Xiaomi and other manufacturers launch new products collectively in September, with so many new phones that it's overwhelming: Xuanjie 03, Taoding Law Kirin chip, and A20 Pro competing on the same stage.

The phone industry this September is unusually lively, a rarity in recent years. Major players like Apple, Huawei, and Xiaomi have all targeted this window to launch their long-prepared flagship products, packing the month's new device release calendar to the brim, with enthusiasts finding something to look forward to nearly every day.
According to Lei Jun's earlier public preview, Xiaomi's Pengcheng series new products will officially hit the market in early September, and the long-awaited Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable flagship will also make its debut at the same event. This device is also the world's first foldable phone to feature the self-developed Xuanjie O3 flagship chip, promising impressive core performance.
By late September, Xiaomi will hold a large dedicated launch event to unveil the highly anticipated Xiaomi 18 Pro series digital flagship. As the main volume-driving flagship for the second half of the year, this model's specs reach the highest level ever seen in Xiaomi's digital series.
As for Apple, it has officially scheduled its autumn new product launch for September 9, bringing multiple new devices at once. Beyond the routine iteration of the iPhone 18 Pro series, the long-rumored iPhone Ultra foldable model is also expected to debut, marking Apple's first mass-produced foldable phone.
Huawei's upcoming lineup is even more extensive. First, the Kirin 2026 flagship chip, built on the Tao Dingli technology system, will officially enter commercial use. On September 7, Huawei will launch the upgraded triple-fold flagship Mate XT2, and by late September, it will release the Mate 90 series annual business flagship as per tradition.
In addition, other leading domestic phone makers like vivo, Honor, and OPPO will also concentrate their second-half flagship launches in September. Nearly every company is stacking all their cutting-edge black-tech features into these new devices, with dozens of major new phones debuting in rapid succession, leaving consumers dazzled. Many tech enthusiasts are discussing on social platforms, curious about what surprise products each brand will deliver.
This month-long new device release frenzy in September stems from top manufacturers all striving to capture market share in the second-half upgrade cycle, with every company fielding its most competitive product lineup of the year. For average consumers, the coming months offer plenty of time to browse and compare—there's no rush to order early. Waiting until all new devices are unveiled, comparing specs and prices, will likely secure the most favorable purchase deals.
