Samsung's first clip-on earphones! The Galaxy Buds On schematic reveals the appearance for the first time.

SamMobile, through a teardown of Samsung applications, unearthed the accompanying schematic of Samsung’s first ear-clip headphones. This new model is expected to be named the Galaxy Buds On (with Galaxy Buds Able as an alternative name), revealing the complete exterior design and charging case for the first time.

The leaked diagram clearly shows the product’s clip-on wearing structure. Each earbud consists of a circular sound module, a flat disc module, and a curved connecting arm. The curved arm wraps around the ear to secure it without needing to insert into the ear canal.

The circular module sits close to the outside of the ear canal, while the flat disc module rests behind the ear to enhance wearing stability. Different decorative rings are used on the outer edges of the two modules to distinguish left and right sides.

The accompanying charging case features a rounded, minimalist design. An LED indicator on the front of the case displays the remaining battery level, making it easy for users to check charging progress at any time.

Earlier industry rumors suggested these ear-clip headphones would use bone conduction driver units. However, analysis of this complete structural diagram refutes that speculation, confirming that the product adopts an open air conduction solution. The speaker unit is positioned outside the ear canal, directing sound waves into it.

Without relying on skull vibration for sound transmission, users can fully retain ambient environmental sounds while listening to music or taking calls. This makes it suitable for scenarios like running, commuting, and daily outings where awareness of surrounding sounds is needed.

Based on previous leaks, the Galaxy Buds On is expected to be officially released, likely alongside the Galaxy S26 FE phone. It is positioned as a mass-market open audio product line, competing with similar ear-clip headphone products from Huawei, Sony, and Bose.
