Full presence unleashed! XPeng X9 "Black Warrior" officially announced: new Midnight Black color with Starship rear wing

On August 20, XPeng Motors officially unveiled the Black Warrior version of the XPeng X9. The entire blacked-out sport package is built around the "Dark Star Destroyer" design theme, with a full upgrade from paint to exterior accessories, breaking the conventional impression of MPVs as稳重 business-oriented vehicles and emphasizing a cool, sporty aesthetic.

The package's core includes three major features: the exclusive Midnight Black paint, a Star Destroyer rear spoiler, and Star Blade sport wheels. Even as a large MPV, these exterior components enhance the vehicle's sense of power and aggression, steering the overall style toward a trendier performance-oriented direction.

For reference, the all-electric XPeng X9 launched back in March this year with a starting price of 309,800 yuan, positioned as the world's longest-range 5C pure-electric seven-seater. The original model already offers multiple color options such as Aurora Green, Nebula Purple, and Midnight Black.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5316×1988×1785mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3160mm. It is powered by a 235kW drive motor, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.7 seconds. Built on an 800V platform, it comes standard with 5C ultra-fast charging capability, a maximum CLTC range of up to 750km, and a combined energy consumption of just 15.9kWh per 100 kilometers.

Inside, the cabin features three rows of electric tri-folding seats that can switch between 4-7 seat configurations. The zero-gravity seats with airbags support 180-degree reclining, and the vehicle offers one of the widest central aisles in its class, ensuring comfortable travel for multiple occupants.

The chassis configuration is equally impressive, with active rear-wheel steering as standard equipment, compressing the large MPV's minimum turning radius to just 5.4 meters for greater agility in city U-turns and parking. It also comes with intelligent dual-chamber air suspension and a blowout stability system.

On the intelligent front, the Turing chip delivers up to 2250 TOPS of computing power, and the AEB maximum operating speed has been raised to 130 km/h. The launch of the Black Warrior package further enriches the XPeng X9's personalization options, offering users who pursue a sporty appearance more new choices while retaining the product's core strengths of spaciousness, long range, and strong intelligence.
