Dong Mingzhu becomes school principal! Gree Technical School's first enrollment of 300 students sees over 3,000 applicants in a single day.

Gree Electric's founder Dong Mingzhu has taken on the role of principal at the newly established Zhuhai Gree Technical School, which has officially launched its first enrollment drive. The school is offering nine majors and accepting 300 students, with tuition fees ranging from 9,000 to 15,000 yuan per academic year.

The school responded that student registration has been overwhelmingly popular, with over 3,000 applications received in just over a day. The registration system will close at 6:00 PM today.

School staff indicated that after registration concludes, both offline and online interview sessions will be arranged.

According to the "Gree Culture" official account, enrollment will continue until mid-September, targeting junior high school graduates nationwide aged 15-18. Scholarships, financial aid, and tuition waivers are available for outstanding students.

The nine inaugural majors include refrigeration equipment application and maintenance, mold manufacturing, intelligent equipment operation and maintenance, mechatronics technology, electrical automation equipment installation and maintenance, electromechanical product testing technology, IoT application technology, multimedia production, and computer application and maintenance.

Notably, the enrollment brochure states that students can access enterprise resources upon enrollment and will be given priority for internships and employment at Gree Electric and its supply chain companies after graduation, ensuring a seamless transition from academics to career.
