BYD's intelligent driving fleet exceeds 3.52 million vehicles, with God's Eye generating over 220 million kilometers of data per day.

BYD released data today showing that as of July 31, 2025, cumulative sales of all models equipped with BYD's God's Eye and Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving systems exceeded 3.52 million units, with July alone seeing 187,670 assisted driving models sold. The God's Eye assisted driving system generates over 220 million kilometers of data daily.

God's Eye is BYD's fully self-developed high-end intelligent driving assistance system, available in three versions: A, B, and C.

God's Eye A is the triple-lidar version, primarily used in the Yangwang models; God's Eye B is the lidar version, mainly applied to Denza and BYD brand vehicles; God's Eye C is the triple-camera vision version, covering models priced from 70,000 to 200,000 yuan, with 21 models launched in the first batch.

In February 2025, BYD unveiled its全民智驾 strategy, announcing that all models would come equipped with high-end intelligent driving technology, lowering the threshold for advanced assisted driving to the 70,000-yuan level.

From a data evolution perspective, God's Eye's data scale has grown exponentially. When God's Eye model ownership reached 2 million units in October 2025, daily data generation was 130 million kilometers; it grew to 160 million kilometers in January 2026; and by August 2026, it had reached 220 million kilometers. The assisted driving activation rate reached 94.13%, and the intelligent parking activation rate hit 85.97%, with user reliance continuing to climb.

On January 28, 2026, BYD released version 5.0 of God's Eye, with the slogan "Drives steadier than experienced drivers, parks more accurately, and reacts faster."

Version 5.0 achieves braking from 135 km/h, zero interventions over 1,000 kilometers on highways, and is the first to commit to taking responsibility for urban navigation safety. BYD's confidence in backing this comes from three advantages: scale (3.52 million units in ownership), data (220 million kilometers daily), and a fully self-developed technology foundation.

The performance of all God's Eye models already exceeds the mandatory national standard for L2 assisted driving, which is set to take effect in 2027.

God's Eye adopts a multi-supplier model, integrating BYD's self-developed chips and algorithm architecture while incorporating computing platforms from leading companies such as NVIDIA, Huawei, and Horizon Robotics, achieving deep integration of software and hardware.

According to earlier reports, Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving ADS system had accumulated approximately 12.8 billion kilometers of assisted driving mileage by August, with around 1.9 million vehicles equipped, and is expected to reach 2 million by year-end.
