After 40 years of U.S. dominance, Zhaoxin breaks the x86 technology barrier! Holding 1,461 patents: achieving independent and controllable domestic CPU technology.

Zhaoxin recently further disclosed the achievements of its ZX86 proprietary instruction set architecture. The company stated that ZX86 is not a simple compatibility layer but a result of deep independent research and development based on the x86 architecture. Zhaoxin has fully mastered the complete source code of x86 processors, achieving independent control of domestic CPU technology.

Over the 40-plus years since the x86 architecture was introduced, the market has long been dominated by American companies, and domestic CPUs have remained constrained by foreign control. Zhaoxin's ZX86 system builds an independent intellectual property framework for instruction sets, offering dual compatibility with traditional x86 instruction sets while eliminating the pain point of reliance on overseas technology licensing.

ZX86 also supports extended instruction sets added after 2018 and introduces new acceleration instructions for the SM2, SM3, and SM4 national cryptographic algorithms, achieving deep integration of the national cryptography system with CPU hardware.

On the product front, Zhaoxin has launched the Kaixian KX-6000 processor with a main frequency of 3.0GHz, driving domestic CPUs to make a key leap from merely usable to genuinely good to use.

The Kaisheng KH-50000 is Zhaoxin's flagship product targeting the high-end computing market. A single chip integrates up to 96 high-performance computing cores, features 384MB of L3 cache, and supports DDR5 memory and 128 PCIe 5.0 high-speed I/O lanes.

Additionally, Zhaoxin has assembled a professional R&D team of nearly 600 people, with R&D centers in Shanghai, Beijing, and Xi'an. Cumulative investment has reached billions of yuan, focused on core areas such as proprietary instruction sets, proprietary microarchitecture, and chip security enhancement.

Data shows that Zhaoxin has developed 11 core CPU technologies, mass-produced six generations of high-performance CPUs and supporting chips, filed over 1,600 patent applications, holds 1,461 granted patents, along with 17 software copyrights and 52 integrated circuit layout design rights.

The depth of technical accumulation ultimately must be validated by the market. Desktop terminal products powered by Zhaoxin CPUs have already captured nearly half of the industry-specific IT application innovation market.
