LiDAR reaches the 80,000-yuan class! Just 135 days after launch, Leapmotor A10's 100,000th production vehicle rolls off the line

Leapmotor recently announced that its compact pure electric SUV, the Leapmotor A10, has officially rolled off the production line as the 100,000th unit, just 135 days after the model went on sale, setting a new record for the fastest time to reach 100,000 units produced for the Leapmotor brand. It also makes the A10 the new benchmark for reaching 100,000 units fastest in the sub-100,000 yuan pure electric SUV segment.

The Leapmotor A10 was launched with an official price range of 65,800 to 86,800 yuan, covering four trim levels.

Within 48 hours of launch, paid orders exceeded 10,000 units, and in the first month, paid orders surpassed 40,000 units, setting a brand record for order growth and making the A10 a phenomenon-level model in the domestic compact pure electric SUV segment.

The high-spec Leapmotor A10 comes equipped with LiDAR, a Qualcomm 8295 chip + 8650 chip, and supports advanced driver assistance features, with a maximum range of 505 km, giving it a clear competitive edge over rivals in its class.

In terms of dimensions, the A10 measures 4,270/1,810/1,635 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm and 18-inch wheels, giving it a distinctly sporty look.

Interior space is also a major highlight. The trunk capacity expands from 602L to 1,549L, and the rear can easily fit six 20-inch carry-on suitcases. The cabin offers 1.14m of vertical storage space, with real-world testing showing it can accommodate 20 large home appliances, including a 500L two-door refrigerator.

The driver's seat can recline up to 140 degrees, making it convenient for resting while parked or during lunch breaks. The second-row seats can fold completely flat, and with accessories from the official store, the cabin can be converted into a 1.75-meter bed, ideal for outdoor activities.

In terms of driver assistance, the Leapmotor A10 brings LiDAR into the sub-80,000 yuan era. The top trim at 86,800 yuan comes with LiDAR + SA8650 driver assistance chip, supporting parking-space-to-parking-space full-scenario assisted driving, including urban NAP, highway navigation, memory parking, and trace reversing.

For the powertrain, the Leapmotor A10 features a single motor with maximum power outputs of 70kW and 90kW respectively, and peak torque of 150 N·m. The battery is available in two options — 39.8kWh and 53kWh — corresponding to CLTC pure electric range of 403 km and 505 km respectively. Fast charging takes just 16 minutes to replenish from 30% to 80%.
