512TB Massive Capacity Unveiled! Dapuwei Showcases EDSFF E2 Form Factor SSD

DapuStor officially showcased a 512TB-class ultra-high-capacity PCIe Gen5 QLC NVMe SSD with the new EDSFF E2 form factor at the FMS 2026 summit earlier this month.

The EDSFF E2 form factor is designed for ultra-high-capacity warm data storage scenarios, with dimensions of 200 x 76 x 9.5mm, accommodating 64 or more NAND flash pads to provide ample physical space for high-density deployment.

The product, model R6060, is equipped with DapuStor's self-developed PCIe Gen5 controller DP800, utilizes 3D eQLC NAND flash, and supports the NVMe 2.0 protocol along with the latest FDP (Flexible Data Placement) feature.

Notably, the R6060 previously had a maximum capacity of 256TB-class (corresponding to 245.76TB usable capacity) in other form factors, and this 512TB-class version doubles the capacity.

Additionally, DapuStor also showcased the J5060 U.2 QLC model. This product features a PCIe Gen4 interface and supports flexible partitioning between pSLC and QLC modes, allowing users to dynamically allocate pSLC high-performance zones and QLC high-capacity storage zones based on business needs, achieving an on-demand balance between performance and capacity.
