Manufacturer uses 36 RAM sticks to make a PC case! Directly given away for free.

RGB lighting control software SignalRGB is hosting a giveaway event, offering a mini ITX gaming PC named "RAM Machine" with a case made of 36 RAM sticks, inspired by the criticized 16GB memory configuration of the Valve Steam Machine.

This PC's case is covered with 36 RAM sticks, including 16 RGB modules synchronized via SignalRGB.

According to the creator, the Steam Machine's 16GB memory inspired the entire project. Instead of upgrading the memory, they made the case out of RAM sticks, with so many that the internal configuration looks modest by comparison.

The case can be disassembled entirely to reveal the internal hardware. Specifications include an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, a single-fan RTX 5060 graphics card, a B860-I ITX motherboard, and a 750W power supply.

It should be noted that the 36 RAM sticks on the case are purely decorative; the actual working memory is a set of 32GB DDR5-8200 modules, which interestingly lack RGB lighting.

Storage is a 2TB Patriot SSD with read speeds of 7400MB/s, and a large RGB fan at the bottom is responsible for heat exhaust. It is estimated that similar configuration costs over $1,500, sufficient for 1080p gaming and some 1440p scenarios.

This is not the first time SignalRGB has sponsored a uniquely shaped PC giveaway. Last year, it turned a microwave into an all-in-one PC, and in 2023, it created a Starfield control panel-themed gaming PC.
