The Cheapest 12GB Graphics Card! Intel Arc B580 Price Drops Overseas: Under 2000 Yuan

According to reports, US retail giant Newegg has recently cut prices on two Intel Arc B580 12GB graphics cards. After stacking a $20 discount coupon, the final price for both the ASRock Challenger and ONIX LUMI models comes to $289.99 (approximately RMB 1,957).

In terms of technical specifications, the Arc B580 is based on the NVIDIA Xe core architecture, featuring 20 compute units on board with a core clock of up to 2740 MHz. The card's biggest advantage lies in its memory subsystem, connecting 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM via a 192-bit interface, delivering better bandwidth than many narrower-bus models in the same price range.

This price adjustment has directly reshaped the pricing landscape of the mainstream graphics card market. In major first-party retail channels in North America, the Arc B580 has displaced the long-premium-priced RTX 3060 12GB, becoming the most affordable 12GB VRAM graphics card currently available.

In a head-to-head comparison with competitors, the RTX 3060 12GB still carries a first-party price tag of around $350 (approximately RMB 2,362) at channels like Best Buy, while AMD's RX 7700 XT generally sits above $300 (approximately RMB 2,025).

In comparison, the Arc B580, having dropped to $290, has set a new price floor for 12GB VRAM graphics cards. Simply put, at the same memory specification, the Arc B580 currently offers the most extreme price competitiveness on the market.

It remains unclear whether the domestic market will follow suit with this round of price adjustments targeting older memory configurations. As NVIDIA's RTX 50 series and AMD's RX 9000 series gradually penetrate the mainstream market, large-VRAM graphics cards based on older architectures are expected to have further room to decline in the second half of the year.
