JD.com has been listed on the Fortune Global 500 for 11 consecutive years, and has topped the list of private enterprises in Mainland China for three consecutive years.

Fast Tech News, July 28 - The 2026 Fortune Global 500 list was officially released today, with JD.com ranking 41st, up three places from last year.
This also marks JD.com's 11th consecutive year on the Fortune 500 list, and it has retained the top spot among mainland private enterprises for three consecutive years.
A total of 122 Chinese companies made the list this year, second only to the United States, and all five leading domestic internet companies saw their rankings rise.
Horizontal comparison shows that JD.com is the highest-ranked domestic internet company, with Alibaba at 56th place and Tencent breaking into the top 100 for the first time, ranking 97th.
JD.com's revenue for this year's listing reached $182.129 billion, covering multiple business lines including retail, logistics, industrial supply chains, and technology services.
Its self-built warehousing and delivery logistics network is its core advantage. Leveraging a nationwide integrated supply chain system, its online retail, offline physical stores, and corporate procurement businesses have grown steadily. At the same time, it continues to expand into overseas markets and improve cross-border commodity circulation channels.
Currently, JD.com is implementing AI technology in the entire process of warehouse sorting, delivery scheduling, and product management, relying on intelligent systems to reduce operational costs and improve overall efficiency.
Beyond business operations, JD.com has long established high-temperature protection for frontline riders, improved cold-chain delivery services for pharmaceuticals, and continued to open offline physical stores, creating a complementary online-offline business model.
Most of the top-ranked domestic companies on the list are state-owned enterprises. JD.com is the only mainland private enterprise in the top ten, maintaining this position for three consecutive years, which is sufficient evidence of its business scale and comprehensive strength.
It is worth mentioning that JD.com is also the Chinese private enterprise with the largest number of employees on the Fortune Global 500. As of the end of 2025, JD.com's total personnel exceeded 900,000, with total human resource expenditure reaching 157.2 billion yuan.
Currently, JD.com's frontline employees include not only delivery couriers, full-time riders, and store clerks, but also professionally trained domestic workers, drone pilots, robot maintenance engineers, etc., covering 183 job categories.
Industry analysts believe that the complete self-built supply chain system and omnichannel retail layout are key to JD.com's sustained ranking.
Going forward, the company will continue to increase investment in supply chain digitalization and overseas business expansion, relying on its mature logistics and retail foundation to further consolidate its leading position among private enterprises on the global list.
