Faraday Future Launches FX Super One in the UAE, Starting at AED 309,000

On October 28 (UAE time), Faraday Future (FF) officially launched the FX Super One, the first model under its new sub-brand Faraday X (FX), in the United Arab Emirates. The debut model, the AIHEREV Max edition, is priced at AED 309,000 (approximately RMB 598,000).

FF describes the FX Super One as the world’s first “First Class EAI-MPV,” designed to combine advanced AI-driven mobility with luxurious MPV comfort. In the Middle East market, the vehicle will be offered with two powertrain options: the AIHER hybrid system and a BEV all-electric version. Both variants will come in four trims—GOAT, Max, Pro, and Standard. So far, only the price of the AIHEREV Max edition has been revealed, with other trims and market prices to be announced later.

The FX brand, launched in September 2024, aims to deliver “double the performance at half the price,” focusing on high-value AI-powered EVs primarily for the U.S. market. The FX Super One is its first production model. Deliveries in the Middle East are scheduled to begin in November, and Spanish football legend Andrés Iniesta has been announced as the first global owner and co-creation officer for the model.

Design and Features

The FX Super One features a bold, futuristic exterior with a large customizable digital front grille that can display various patterns. For a more traditional look, buyers can opt for a black mesh grille instead. The vehicle is equipped with laser radar and distinctive LED headlights with integrated lenses.

In terms of dimensions, the FX Super One measures 5,410 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,890 mm in height, with a 3,275 mm wheelbase and an interior cabin length of 3,823 mm—making it one of the longest MPVs in its class in the Middle East. The body uses a triple high-strength cage structure with 81.96% high-strength steel and is the first MPV globally equipped with full-length side curtain airbags. Additional premium features include double-layer acoustic and privacy glass, full-length electric curtains, power sliding doors, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.

Interior and Performance

Inside, the FX Super One boasts a continuous digital dashboard that connects the central and passenger displays, complemented by a 23-speaker surround sound system with individual headrest speakers for immersive entertainment. The 2+2+2 six-seat configuration ensures “first-class comfort for every passenger,” featuring zero-gravity seats with massage, leg rest, and memory functions.

The FX Super One comes standard with an intelligent four-wheel-drive hybrid system—unique among MPVs in the Middle East. Powered by a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors, it produces 337 kW and 644 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.7 seconds with a WLTC combined range of 963 km.

Market and After-Sales

Buyers in the UAE will enjoy a comprehensive after-sales package, including a 6-year/200,000 km vehicle warranty, an 8-year/200,000 km warranty for the battery and drivetrain, and 24/7 roadside assistance. FF also introduced a pioneering payment model that accepts both fiat currency and cryptocurrency, enabling customers to purchase the FX Super One using digital assets—marking a milestone in the integration of AI and crypto ecosystems.

According to FF’s latest financial report, over 4,000 paid reservations for the FX Super One had been received by the end of Q2, with total bookings surpassing 10,000 units as of July 31. FF expects the new model to redefine luxury MPVs in the region, positioning it as a direct challenger to the Cadillac Escalade and Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

In addition, FF confirmed that development of the FX brand’s second model, the FX 4, is underway, with further details expected to be announced in November.
