OnePlus has teased the OnePlus 15 in a new “Original Sand Dune” finish. The subtle, uniform color uses a proprietary ion-coloring process designed to resist fading, smudges, and wear. OPPO’s design chief notes it also leverages military-grade micro-arc oxidation for enhanced durability.
The OnePlus 15 debuts aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal, claimed to be 134% harder than titanium, 223% tougher than stainless steel, and 344% stronger than standard anodized aluminum.
Other highlights include a rounded rectangular camera housing and a 1.5K 165Hz ultra-narrow flat display co-developed with BOE, with bezels just 1.15mm.
Launching in October, the OnePlus 15 will be the first device powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 “Supreme Edition.”
