Faraday Future founder Jia Yueting has announced that the company’s new vehicle, the FX Super One, has reached a significant milestone, entering the final production sprint toward its first year-end rollout. Jia confirmed that FF has signed the initial full-component procurement agreements with suppliers, completed payments, and is preparing shipments, marking a key step from R&D, prototype development, and pilot testing to mass production readiness.
Jia highlighted the milestone’s significance:
- Accelerated Manufacturing: The Super One has officially entered the trial and production phase, laying the foundation for the first units to roll off the line by year-end and accumulating experience for future large-scale deliveries.
- Engineering Verification: Upon receipt of components, comprehensive vehicle engineering validation, functional testing, and regulatory certification will begin, providing critical data for mass production and continuous optimization.
- Market Delivery Approaches: The milestone brings FF closer to customer deliveries and signifies the imminent closure of its online direct-sales ecosystem.
- Government Support: Data and operational progress will support negotiations for tariff exemptions and reductions.
- Localization Strategy: Higher rates of U.S.-based R&D, engineering modifications, and component upgrades aim to enhance competitiveness, reduce tariff costs, and fully comply with the U.S. ICTS Act requirements.
Notably, the Super One offers an optional large display integrated into the front grille, referred to by FF as an “AI embodied intelligent lifeform.” The vehicle features FF’s globally first Super EAI F.A.C.E. (Super Intelligent Face) system, which replaces conventional static vehicle fronts with customizable “thousand-faces-for-thousands-of-cars” AI designs.
The Super One targets three core user groups: celebrities, business professionals, and families. It will be available in two powertrain options — a fully electric version and a world-first Super AI hybrid system — each offered in three seating configurations: four-seat GOAT version, six-seat, and seven-seat, totaling six variants.
