The in-house chips have caught up with 7nm process X86 performance! Hu Weiwu: Loongson's self-developed graphics card 9A1000 has been delivered for tape-out.

Longxin Zhongke Chairman Hu Wuwu confirmed in his latest public sharing that the company's first general-purpose GPU chip, the 9A1000, has completed the entire R&D process and has officially been delivered for tape-out.
According to publicly disclosed product positioning, the 9A1000 targets the consumer-grade entry-level discrete graphics card segment. Its overall graphics rendering performance is roughly comparable to the RX 550, a mature product released by overseas manufacturer AMD years ago, fully covering everyday office and multimedia use, mainstream lightweight online gaming, basic graphic design, and other usage scenarios. The chip's AI computing power also reaches the level of tens of TOPS, fully meeting everyday lightweight AI computing demands.
Beyond this entry-level product about to enter the testing and implementation phase, Longxin has also previously disclosed a clear roadmap for its full GPU product line. From 2026 to 2027, the team's core R&D goal is the higher-tier next-generation GPU product, the 9A2000, with planned graphics performance reaching four times that of the 9A1000, and AI inference performance achieving eight times that of the first-generation product, directly matching the performance level of overseas mid-range discrete graphics cards of the same period.
In this public address, Longxin Zhongke Chairman Hu Wuwu specifically emphasized that, relying on a full-stack self-developed core IP and a fully independently controllable process system, the actual performance of Longxin's new-generation CPUs has caught up with the level of mainstream commercial products in the current consumer market, completely shedding the previous label that domestic chips could only compete in the market with low-positioned products.
According to officially disclosed technical details, the previously delivered Longxin 3B6600 processor, manufactured using a domestically developed 1Xnm highly autonomous process, has achieved measured comprehensive performance on par with mainstream X86 consumer CPUs on the market that use 7nm or more advanced processes. Its everyday usage experience fully meets the office and entertainment needs of the vast majority of ordinary users.
